Student Information

The Columbia County Chamber Foundation is preparing students to meet the needs of our businesses. Internships prove to be successful and meaningful for both the student intern and the business host.

The Columbia County Summer Internship Program is kicking off in May 2021. Students can apply to intern at a local CSRA business during an 8-week program during Summer 2021. The 8-week program will take place from June 7, 2021 through July 30, 2021.

Student Requirements:
-16 years of age by May 1, 2021
-Attend a public or private high school located in Columbia County
-Completion of 10th-grade curriculum requirements at the close of the Spring 2021 semester
-A signed copy of the parent consent letter
-Submit one letter of recommendation.

Students must submit an online application by April 23, 2021. Interviews will take place on April 29 and April 30.

Business Information

If you are a business that wants to host an intern this summer:
- Your business must be a member of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce
- Must submit an online application and $200 administrative fee
- Pay intern minimum wage for at least 20 hours a week for 8-weeks

Businesses must submit an online application by March 26, 2021
