The Small Business Champion initiative is an award program that is meant to recognize small businesses for their successes and contributions to the community. This award provides the opportunity to showcase the story behind their success. With this program the Columbia County Chamber wants to promote awareness and visibility of small businesses throughout the Greater Augusta area.

Click Small Business Champion Nomination Form to download a nomination form. Deadline is November 30th.  A winner will be announced at the end of every quarter. Nominations are good for one year.

All Star Home Inspections has been in business for 11+ years. They have an A+ rating with the BBB and are GA DCA certified. Owner Chuck Tolbert has been named Inspector of the Year with Trust Advisor. They are involved in numerous community projects including; Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta, Augusta Woman’s Jr. League, Warren Baptist Church Grovetown Campus, Fort Gordon Darling Hall Housing Office and many education seminars for soldiers and first-time home buyers.  Recently, Chuck mentored and trained a friend who wished to start his own home inspection business and this individual describes Chuck as the “definition of a true chamber member.”

Southeast Restoration Group (SRG) has been in business for 3 years and has been deeply involved in the local community in which it serves.  Their business motto is: Restoring Lives. Repairing Property. People and homes are not seen as jobs, but as lives that need to be restored.  SRG has participated in numerous community projects to include; Christ Community Health Clinic, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Trot to Adopt 5K, Father/Daughter Gala, and much more.  Not only does SRG invest in the community, but they also invest in the lives of their employees by offering 5 days to use for missions or philanthropic service.  In 2014, SRG Augusta was awarded “Office of the Year” from their corporate company.
