Ambassador Committee
Support the Chamber’s efforts to welcome new members by delivering the membership packet, and contacts the member regularly to encourage participation and involvement, and attends 50% of ribbon cuts.

Government Affairs Committee
Advocate for Chamber Members regarding government related concerns and address or take action where needed on legislative issues and develops the Chamber’s legislative agenda.
Meeting Date/Time: Second Thursday of month, 7:30 a.m. in Chamber Conference Room, except July.
Industrial Council
(Limited to Industrial Suppliers and Manufacturers)
Encourage strong participation from this key segment of the business community to share best practices. Develop a unified voice in areas of transportation, taxes and workforce development for the benefit of their companies and the community.

Diplomat Committee
Continues the work of the Ambassadors beginning with the 2nd year of Chamber membership. Maintains regular contact and delivers renewal packet to renewing members and attends 50% of ribbon cuts.

Youth Leadership Committee
Directs Youth Leadership program including selection of Class, planning and implementation of each leadership day, and evaluation of program results.
Meeting Date/Time: Fourth Thursday of Month at 7:30 a.m. (Join in May or June.)
Leadership Columbia County Committee
Directs the Adult Leadership Program, including selection of Class, planning and implementation of day & evaluation of program.
Meeting Date/Time: Monthly on various Friday’s at 8:00 a.m. in Chamber Conference Room (Join in May or June.)
Programs Committee
Works with and supports the Programs Coordinator to implement programs and events including: Hot Topics / Hot Coffee, SuCCess Columbia County Style, Professional Development Luncheons, other events including monthly Resource Sessions.

Focuses on issue and concerns for members in the Grovetown area & develops business growth.
Meeting Date/Time: Bi-Monthly in various Grovetown Businesses.
LEADS Group
Member to Member leads generating group. Non-Competing format and limited to one representative per industry.
Meeting Date/Time: Meets the first and third Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Chamber Conference Room.
Golf Committee
To coordinate the annual golf tournament by securing donations, helping with pre tournament logistics, and volunteering on the day of the tournament.
Meeting Date/Time: Meets from May to September with monthly and weekly meetings.
Workforce/Education Committee
To focus on workforce development with area colleges / technical schools / and high schools to build a better workforce for the region.
Meeting Date/Time: Meets monthly to bi-monthly with area business leaders.
